The front paddock
By now, very conscious that my skills have dropped and I am missing the excellent tutelage of my workshop facilitator in Provence. Wellington's weather is better than Paris' (mid-Summer there!) so didn't hesitate to ignore the piles of washing and household chores in order to get the easel up and start painting. This is the first time in my life I have prioritised painting over other things, and it felt great, but a bit strange. If it wasn't for the project, I would not have done this!
