wilma: God lives here on the Eastern Bay of Plenty

We call it The Place where God lives, of course it is'nt, It's simply where the Motu River flows down from high in the mountains, through the gorges and into a small area of the Bay of Plenty.

,ve come to the conclusion--- that if God were to chose one single place to live it would be here. Over my 100 days I'm going to take you, with my trusty little pink camera and show you our beautiful piece of New Zealand.

Day 32:

Baxter fishing…. we think

Taking any dog to the water is fun but taking Baxter is a delight. Baxter can smell water a mile away and he's happy to swim on his own but having a stick thrower and audience makes his whole day complete. The water down at the river has formed a lagoon, not deep but deep enough to really have a good splash. Monty, Baxter's brother would rather sit and watch the lunch basket but Baxter would be there swimming away until he is shivering, red in the eye and whimpering for a towel. I talk about miracles, well to me a miracle is seeing an animal, any animal respond with obvious pleasure to an experience. We love you Baxxy!
