100 Days Project

wilma: God lives here on the Eastern Bay of Plenty

We call it The Place where God lives, of course it is'nt, It's simply where the Motu River flows down from high in the mountains, through the gorges and into a small area of the Bay of Plenty.

,ve come to the conclusion--- that if God were to chose one single place to live it would be here. Over my 100 days I'm going to take you, with my trusty little pink camera and show you our beautiful piece of New Zealand.

Day 31:

Monty the miracle dog

Im going to tell you about Monty. Monty is a miracle, a miracle because no matter what he does, bad, disgusting or stupid we all laugh and say in unison"Oh Monty!" Monty like his sibling Baxter is a spanial. (Ill tell you about Baxter tomorrow.
Now Monty lives in Auckland about 6 hours drive away but comes down here with my daughter every so often. He loves it here because he can chase the old roosters who live up in the bush, bark frantically at everything, eat any old bones he might find. go down to the river to do his discovering then have a quiet little paddle, no deeper than his knees then sit and wonder what. "Sometimes I sit and think , sometimes I just sit!"
Monty can open cupboards, find the warmest spot in the bed, demand to sit in the front seat of the car and can actually climb onto a bench by shuffling a stool across. Monty isnt everyone's cup of tea or dog but in our family he is tops.
