Willie: What It Is To Ponder

Every day there are opportunities to ponder. So often life gets in the way to ponder with meaning. For the 100 days of this project I will take time out every day to reflect on those ponder-able moments. I will attempt to articulate my 'ponderings' through the use of poetry. Risky but fun. Can I actually write poetry? Here we go...

The painting hung on her wall.
It was a painting of a house that was a home for 100 years.
The painting itself was OK.
But the living it represented was extraordinary.

The painting hangs on our wall
It reminds us of a house that was a home for 100 years.
The painting itself is OK.
But the legacy to uphold is extraordinary.

The Painting

What do we do each day to contribute to make our little bit of ordinary into tomorrow's EXTRAordinary? A legacy is built on little bits of ordinary that go a long way. 100 years was a 'long way'.
