Our Lilly thinking she’s swimming!!!!
I have repeated the photo of lilly as the same photo had the stilits from yesterday and anyway its a beautiful picture and one cannot have to much of a good things.h
I haven't told you about our Lilly yet and yet she's the driving force about us going down to see God each morning. As you can probably see lilly is not a highly bred girl, more your bottom of the class type of dog. White with brown spots on her rump and brown ears.
We'd vowed never to get another dog after losing Trevor but we did know the day would come when the house felt empty. That day off we went to the SPCA, no one seemed to have that X factor until we were leaving and saw this shy young maiden sitting quietly behind all the leaping squealing yokels. Yes she's ours!!!!
that was three years ago and there has proved to be no greater love than that scratching dog for us than lilly, a state reciprocated by us.
Lilly is quiet except when she's excited, docile except when she has one of the grandsons bailed up, brave except when there are bunnies, birds, cats other dogs, wind, thunder, lightening anything that bangs rattles clanks around. probably perfect for two old people. Of course there is always two sides to everything and Lilly has a second side. She's a heater hog, demanding when she wants the warm patch of our bed, annoying when she wants to go in the car which is always and frantic when she feels we need to go to the river, So you can see That River mouth with the sweet smelling driftwood, soggy seaweed, seagull poos, dead fish bits is lilly's idea of her own miracle and who are we to disagree?
