Lynn: “Making the ordinary, extraordinary”

To encourage a closer appreciation of our 'ordinary' lives, I will photograph an everyday object or scene with camera or phone, accompanied by a descriptive phrase of my own, or an existing quote or song lyric.

Day 19:


"Let them eat cake!"
This saying is widely attributed to is widely attributed to Marie-Antoinette (1755-93), the Queen consort of Louis XVI. She is supposed to have said this when she was told that the French populace had no bread to eat. But there is no real evidence to confirm that she actually uttered these words...
