wilma: God lives here on the Eastern Bay of Plenty

We call it The Place where God lives, of course it is'nt, It's simply where the Motu River flows down from high in the mountains, through the gorges and into a small area of the Bay of Plenty.

,ve come to the conclusion--- that if God were to chose one single place to live it would be here. Over my 100 days I'm going to take you, with my trusty little pink camera and show you our beautiful piece of New Zealand.

Day 14:

The invaders

Neighbour has the herd down on the track today. The cows really liked lilly as she run along but being lilly she was not even going to look in their direction. "cast my eyes away!")
Now the beauty of this morning were the birds. Of course three hundred cows stir up a lot of grubs and insects and the birds came in their thousands. Tiny goldfinch who fly in swooping circles after the seeds of what we call the fire bush, ( Tall with fluffy heads) Then the Fantails. This year there are more than we've ever seen We counted 31 flitting around the two closest cows. I always think how clever birds are but who taught them. We're on about this God again with his/her amazing talent for teaching us all how to survive. hope you like the picture of cow 57.
